When it comes to finding purpose, serving with your unique God-given gifts, and surrounding yourself with a loving community, we want to give you a clear and manageable path to follow. This is a starting path that won't leave you in the dark but will help train and equip you to discover all that God has for you!

Think of this “Race” as a way to find your purpose and connect to others just like you, because there is so much more for you here at Church at Addis than just attending a weekend service. You have the great privilege and opportunity to discover all that God has for you and “Run the Race” with Excellence!

The Registration Table

(Heat #1)

This is the beginning of the Race. In this four-week rotation, you will discover the basics of how to “run the race in such a way as to win” (1 Corinthians 9:24). You will learn how to slow down and develop a daily time with God and we will show you the different steps you can take to mature and grow as a Christian.

The Starting Blocks

(Heat #2)
Life wasn’t meant to be lived in one place. As followers of Jesus, we should always be moving, learning, and growing as we walk! For many of us, that could be as simple as establishing a few new habits in our lives to get going in the right direction. In this four-week session, you will discover what it means to be a student of Christ and how to let go of the world by learning to give to God first.

The First Turn

(Heat #3)
In Acts, chapter two, Peter preached to thousands of listeners who were wondering “what they should do next?” In verse 38, his response was to “Repent and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.” In this four-week session, learn how “Repentance” applies to our new walk with Christ.

The Back Turn

Qualifier
Today’s culture is obsessed with discovering individual identity—personality tests, zodiac readings, even Facebook surveys are available everywhere you look, trying to tell you about yourself. It seems like everyone is searching for anything to tell them who they are, where they belong, and how they fit in to the world. In this four-week session, we will discover what the Bible says about how all men and women are created in God!s image. Learn how all of humankind was created to reflect God!s character throughout creation and how all followers of Jesus are called to find their identity in Him.

The Second Turn

Semi Finals
Have you ever stopped to realize that you have something to offer a hurting world? If we understand that we are made to live life on mission, then every day can be an opportunity to make the world a better place. YOU have a role to play in God’s great plan. During this four-week session, we will equip you to go out and make an impact on a personal, community, and “ends of the earth” level.

The Straight to the Finish Line

Finals
What you do with your life matters to God. Sometimes it may not always feel like it, but you were created for a purpose! God has shaped you in a unique way and has given you your spiritual gifts, your abilities, your personality, and your experiences. This four-week closing session is designed to help you find the perfect place for you to minister with us here at Church at Addis based on who you are!
